Candace Cameron Bure explains terrifying reason her family moved from Los Angeles
Candace Cameron Bure isnât the first celebrity to move away from Los Angeles in recent years, and chances are she wonât be the last.
The former Full House actress recently opened to Fox News Digital about her decision to move her family away from the City of Angels.
âWe didnât feel safe anymore,â she admitted. âAnd that was the biggest reason that we moved.â
The 48-year-old actress and mother of three adult children explained how not everyone who lives in Los Angeles lives behind gates, and since they didnât they often found their safety in jeopardy.
She recalled how over the past few years her family had issues with people taking photos, hiding on their property, and even approaching their door.
âItâs amazing what people feel they can do,â she said. âAnd wanting to be a part of your life in some way. Some of it is innocent, some of it wasnât. But itâs quite unnerving when youâre just trying to be a person and live life, and you donât know whatâs around the corner.â
Recently, she took to Instagram to address a frequently asked question.
Yes, the Bure family had moved from Los Angeles.
ââWhy?â Mostly for security reasons,â she shared on her Instagram Story. âAlso, family dynamics have changed. The kids donât live in Los Angeles anymore. Mama will go where they go! I travel a lot. The seasons of life.â
While she didnât share with her fans where she moved, she told Fox News Digital that sheâs still in California.
âThere have been all kinds of stories as to where we moved, and none of them are right,â Bure said. âNone of them. We didnât move to Nashville. We didnât move to Texas. Weâre actually still in California. We just moved up north. Weâre no longer in Los Angeles.â
