My friend was getting married, and she had a strained relationship with her future MIL, who didn’t approve of the wedding. At the ceremony, when the couple was about to exchange rings, a woman appeared at the back of the hall, stormed down the aisle, and, without a word, threw a bucket of red paint over the bride’s dress. Chaos erupted, and as security dragged the person out, it came to light that the mother-in-law had hired the woman to sabotage the wedding in one final act of disapproval. The bride was devastated, and the guests were left in shock at the extreme lengths she had gone to stop the marriage.

My ex-husband just used half of our son’s college fund to pay for his stepdaughter’s education. I was beyond furious, so I confronted him. His response was callous: “I earned that money, not you!” That was the breaking point- I immediately reached out to my lawyer.

The next day, my lawyer insisted on a meeting, and shockingly, my ex had to be there. What we learned turned everything upside down. It turns out that his stepdaughter had a full scholarship and wasn’t using a penny of the fund. But the real twist? His wife had been lying to him all along. She secretly opened an account and had been siphoning thousands of dollars from him over the years.

When he confronted her, she came clean-she’d been planning to leave him for a long time and was already seeing someone else. Now they’re in the middle of a divorce. I feel completely betrayed and heartbroken. That money was meant for our son’s future. I don’t know what to do. Please, any advice would be appreciated.
