Grimes, his ex, built her brand on progressive values but compromised them to be with Musk. She defended his anti-union stance, only to later decry his legal battles against her in their custody dispute. Her contradictory behavior—lamenting Musk’s actions while praising his gaming skills—feels disingenuous.

Rather than owning her choices, she maintains an alternative persona while benefiting from Musk’s wealth. If she accepted her contradictions, she’d be more credible. But can we stop pretending she’s better than him?
