Officer completely stole the show.

Officer Ryan Tillman, a beloved school resource officer at Don Lugo High School in California, chose a memorable way to say goodbye to students after earning a promotion to Chino Police Corporal. Known for his strong connections with students, Tillman surprised them with an unexpected dance performance during a school assembly.

With help from the principal and dance team, Tillman kicked off his farewell by joining the students on stage as “Lip Gloss” by Lil Mama played. He explained to NBC Los Angeles, “I wanted to make a big exit, so I thought, what better way than to dance?” Students erupted in cheers as he showcased his moves, proving he was more than just a uniformed officer.

The energy soared when the music switched to MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This,” and Tillman flawlessly performed iconic 90s dance moves, earning even louder applause. His performance highlighted his dedication to building positive relationships within the school, showing gratitude to students and staff.

Tillman also founded Breaking Barriers United, an organization aimed at improving community relations with law enforcement. His farewell dance, which has since gone viral, left a lasting impression, with one viewer commenting, “Every city needs a cop like you!”
